Ashley Gong is a film and theatre actor living in Los Angeles. She attended the University of Nevada where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. While there, she was cast in the world premier of Hamlet (performed in Original Pronunciation), where she worked with Shakespeare authorities Eric Rasmussen, Ben Crystal, and David Crystal. She was cast in the world premier of Juanita's Statue, which premiered at the university in 2012. She was cast as "Good Angel" in the university's production of Doctor Faustus in 2013, became the first student to fly in the newly added ZFX flying system in the Proscenium Theater.
After graduating in 2013, Ashley moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. She has since worked in several short films such as That One Guy, Follow, Crossing Over, and Rot (directed by Kevin Wilson jr.) In 2016, she starred in an episode of a Buzzfeed series entitled Relationship Goals, which aired on Go90. That same year she performed in the Funny or Die series Hamilton and Darcy. She went on to perform in Space or The Number of Nothing at the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival which won the Audience Award. Most recently, Ashley worked on the short film/pilot The Struggle.
When not acting, Ashley enjoys murder podcasts (her favorite being My Favorite Murder, SSDGM), crafting, reading, and tending to her houseplants.
